In this blog post,  Learning in the modern Classroom Silvia Tolisano explains what learning in the 21st century is going to be like. The post is about how Silvia tried a project with her class and the results she got was a little more than what she expected. What Silvia did was engage her students in a project that enhance their learning experience and also provide them to think critical about the project. The students were using sykpe, twitter, and google docs to communicate with Mr. Fisher who was the author of the poems they were doing their projects on. Each student had their own questions for Mr. Fisher and he answered them all in some form. Silvia was used in this project to guide the students and observe the communication between Mr. Fisher and the students.

In this post, How are we different the students are challenged to connect with people their age around the world. The students do personal short clips of video speaking in their native tongue just saying something about themselves. This project gives the student the chance to connect with the whole world and see things first hand on how other students are. This project provides creativity, intelligence and helps build communication skills. This is a great project for students who are multilingual. It gives them great understanding of other languages and they can explain things to students who do not understand their native language.
